Danielson Grove was built under the City of Kirkland's Innovative Housing Demonstration Project. The prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2007 National Housing Award was awarded Ross Chapin Architects for Danielson Grove in the One/Two Family Production Homes category. Residential Architect magazine also awarded Ross Chapin Architects the Merit Award for Danielson Grove neighborhood in the Single-Family Production Housing/Detached category.
