Judges for the Pacific Coast Builders Conference 2025 Gold Nugget Awards have named The Cottage Company as the Grand Award winner in two categories in its annual competition, which honors architectural design and planning excellence and drew nearly 700 entries from throughout the United States and Internationally.  The Cottage Company earned its Grand Award honors for development of Thornton Creek Commons, located in Northeast Seattle WA, which was honored for 'Best Single Family detached home under 2,000 Square Feet' and 'Best Infill Solution'.
